Rules:

7 men and 3 women start on the field at one time.  The minimum to start with is 6 men and 2 women.

7 innings or 55 minutes, which ever comes first. The final score will be the last full inning played.

Batting order: male, male, female, male, male, female...
Everyone bats, even if they did not play the field that inning - females may bat twice in the line up to keep the pattern.  It must be the last female to bat in the previous inning (not one particular female everytime) - the line up in the book must be complete by both teams before play may start.

Pitchers mound: all fields must remain behind the pitchers mound until the ball is kicked (not pitched)

Kicks: all kicks must go past the pitchers mound or it is considered a foul - field players may run in after the ball is kicked and make a play on the ball.

Base running: no leading off, may not leave the base until the ball is kicked by the kicker.  If a base runner is less than half way between bases and the pitcher has the ball, then the base runner goes back.  If the runner is more than half way to the next base and then the pitcher has the ball, then the runner may proceed at his/her own risk.  You must stay within the baseline. No stealing.

Pitching: The pitcher must roll the ball as a reasonable speed as determined by the umpire.  The top of the ball may not bounce higher than the kickers knee.

Kicking: the kicker must kick from within the strike zone (indicated by orange lines around  home plate). If you kick outside or infront of the strike zone, it is considered a foul.

Home Plate: There is a one foot line on each side of the home plate - that is the strike zone.  To be safe while running the bases, you must touch the home plate.

Infield Fly Rule: applies if first and second base are occupied with less than 2 outs.

Officials: each team will provide 2 officials several times throughout the season.  You will be paid.

The Count: each player comes to kick with one ball and one strike

Foul Balls: on your third foul, you are out (not your second)

OUT: 1. strike out, 2. runner touched by the ball any time not on base, 3. a runner who interferes with a kick or throw, 4. a caught kick (fair or foul), 5. tag on a base to which the runner is forced to run, 5. a runner is off his/her base when the ball is kicked.

Sliding: if any contact is made by a baserunner sliding, then the base runner is out.

Scoring Limites: if you are up by 7, then you may only score 7 runs in any inning you where you started that inning up by 7.  If you fall below that 7 run lead, you may score as many as you can.  But then the rule applies again, once you start an inning up by 7.

Regular Season: games may end in a tie
